The Story of Yorkmut
Yorkmut Pets Yoga is a unique concept combining yoga with the presence of pets.
Our classes take place in Prague and Brno and operate as part of the Yorkmut brand, which expanded in 2025 with the opening of Yorkmut Café, café with dogs.
Who is behind Yorkmut Pets Yoga?
The founder of Yorkmut Pets Yoga is Anna Dvořáková, who has been behind its creation and first classes since 2022. As the concept continued to grow, Markéta Blahová joined her and is now a co-owner of the company.
Together, they are now developing Yorkmut Pets Yoga as part of the Yorkmut brand with a vision of bringing joy to people.
Why was puppy yoga created?
The impulse behind the creation of Yorkmut Pets Yoga came as inspiration from abroad, where similar concepts started appearing on social media.

In the spring of 2022, the idea emerged to bring the combination of yoga and puppies to the Czech Republic for the first time.

The First Class in the Czech Republic
The first puppy yoga class in the Czech Republic was initiated by the founder, who invested all the money she had earned during her studies by babysitting into the creation of the concept. At that time, the classes were held under the name Pets Yoga Prague.
A few months later, Markéta Blahová attended one of the classes, after which Anna Dvořáková invited her to collaborate.

Opening of the Brno Branch
A year has passed since the first class, and yoga with puppies is expanding to Brno, the second largest city in the Czech Republic.
Opening the Brno branch also established a strong foundation for the company’s further development.

Establishment of Yorkmut company
With the growing range of activities and long-term vision, the Yorkmut company was established, now overseeing yoga with puppies in Prague and Brno.
SoučasnAt the same time, the offering is expanding, and classes are organized not only for individuals but also for large companies such as Samsung, Refresher, and L'Oréal.

The Yorkmut brand is further expanding with the opening of Yorkmut Café, the first café surrounded by dogs.
